I stopped by this Greek Cafe last night after dinner because I was craving something sweet. It looked a bit dark from the outside but when I walked in, I saw a large display case filled with desserts; slices of cakes, cheesecake, Greek pastries and full cakes. There were so many choices and I didn't know which one to choose. The lady behind the counter came out and went through them all with me. She was so patient and helpful. I finally settled on Chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. The price was reasonable and the dessert did not disappoint. I will definitely visit this place again for dessert. I recommend all to give them a try. It's great for groups, date nights or if you are craving a sweet treat.

Omonia is a group favorite. They have a vast menu and always fresh ingredients, so everything is solid. Moreover, the staff is friendly and accommodating whether we have small children (messy) or just want to linger over a second cup of coffee and a shared dessert.

I've passed this establishment many times but never tried it until recently and it was great! We went for dessert and coffee only and it did not disappoint! There were so many cake selections! Can't wait to return to try more of the cakes and entrees! The place gets pretty full, so if you're looking for an intimate place this isn't it. It can get pretty loud in there but there is indoor/outdoor seating though.

When I was in high school, my friends and I would come here all of the time! It was nice to return back! Their dessert is always good!

My fav!! Great food and full bakery!! A few real egg custard choices ( very hard to find) Vegetarian choices too!! Yummo!! Oh yes coconut flan! Yummmm

I have been coming to Omonia since I was a teenager. I always loved coming here because my parents would take us here for a special occasion or if a relative from out of a town was visiting...my parents liked to impress them with the outdoor setting...this is back before outdoor dining was trendy. So I always got excited when we would come here and always ordered something different each time because there were so many options in the menu, especially for dessert. My go-to dish eventually became the Penne La Vodka and Nutella cheesecake for dessert. It was also here that I had Baileys coffee and it is the only place I like to order this type of coffee because no order place makes it the way I like it. Another food on the menu that I love are the burgers and fries. They make this the way I like as well, which is well-done and not burnt-down. The fries are served hot and crispy. Omonia stands the test of time because their food still tastes delicious and the ambiance is still welcoming. The service here continues to be top-notch and I always go home satisfied and happy. There are times my family and I don't have time to eat at the restaurant and we'll order the food to go. The food still tastes as great as if you were to have dined-in.
